40Digits is a design and development firm owned by Josh Burch and Chris Langston in Springfield, Missouri. We have been involved in web development and design in one way or another since late 1994 – when the web was still a baby. Since 2004 we have been part of the development firm ClearBlueWeb, crafting process automation applications like SureHub. To satisfy increasing demand, 40Digits spun-off of ClearBlueWeb in 2008 to focus exclusively on creative web design and development projects.
Our philosophy
We have user-centered philosophy of development and design that focuses on creating sites and applications that are simple, reliable, and intuitive. By concentrating on the user experience we maximize the chance that users, for example, find the information they need, purchase your product, or generate a potential sales lead.
The primary question potential design firms should ask you is “What do you want to accomplish with your website?” and not “What do you want your website to look like?”. The answer to the first question will drive the answer the second.
